“Best fun I’ve had in 30 years”
I found VMX by accident. I was searching eBay for a minibike for my son’s 9th birthday and kept seeing this term VMX. When I Googled it, I found this site. When I went to one of the race meetings to have a look, as soon as I heard the roar of the 2 strokes and smelled the 2 stroke oil burning, my adrenaline began to pump again. 2 bikes, a ute, a trailer and a revitalised workshop full of vintage parts later, I have rediscovered why I took up dirt bike riding back in the 70s. “I just love nice bikes and can’t stop buying them”
I wasn’t fortunate enough to race back in the day but I am racing now and loving it. I have more bikes than I want to admit but the main two I race are my Yamaha YZ250H in the EVO class and my Yamaha YZ250L in the Pre-85 class. The Heaven crew are a great bunch of people and the camping, camaraderie and of course the racing are the highlight of my month each month of the season. Brad – (600)
